Change your food habits to ensure optimum nutrients for both you and the baby. If you were in the habit of eating a steady stream of fast food pre-pregnancy, you are going to have to make some serious changes. Incorporate more fruits, vegetables and lean protein into your diet, starting today.

Talk to your doctor before you plan any traveling while pregnant. This way, you can know that it’s safe to travel, and your doctor will be able to warn you about any special precautions you should take. Bring prenatal medical records with you, however, just in case anything should happen.

When you are going to get any type of testing done, make sure to let the doctor know that you are expecting a child. Many chemicals and processes that you come in contact with while you are pregnant can cause adverse harm to the child or complications with your pregnancy.
